The Vidor ISD Police Department believes safety is of utmost importance throughout the district. Our team of dedicated professionals, men and women, are committed to supporting the Vidor ISD mission by providing service-oriented enforcement of law, maintaining the peace and protecting our school community. Our Police and Security Officers are ready to help in the educational environment; they strive to serve, educate and provide a safe and secure learning environment for all of our students and staff. Their safety is our number one priority.

Vidor ISD Police Operations:

  • Vidor ISD Police Department campus officers are responsible for maintaining high visibility on their assigned campuses. The officers are responsible for ensuring a safe learning environment for the students and staff. Campus based officers respond to crimes against district property, students, faculty, visitors, and personnel.
  • Vidor ISD Police Department patrols the district even when school is not in session. Our patrol officers check campuses, respond to alarm calls and assist other agencies at their request.
