I believe that our students at Vidor are our most valuable resource.  The future of our great town is in their hands. Because of this, Vidor ISD will do everything possible to help our students grow academically. We also feel that it is our job to help our families by providing for our student's personal, expressive, and social well-being.  The 21st century brings great changes and challenges and we feel confident in our ability to prepare our students.

We are committed to the highest educational system possible for our students.  Vidor ISD will systematically analyze data, reflect, and adjust to our needs when necessary to make this happen.  By making our district a great place for employees and students, I believe that we can be a district that others look to as a great example of how to educate children. As superintendent, I bring over 15 years of education to Vidor ISD.  I have a variety of experience that I bring with me to this great job.  My former positions include:

  • 6th Grade Social Studies teacher, Jasper ISD
  • 4th Grade teacher, Tomball ISD
  • Junior High and High School Assistant Principal, Little Cypress-Mauriceville CISD
  • High School Principal, Hull-Daisetta ISD
  • High School Principal, Vidor ISD

My education consists of:

  • Bachelor of Arts, Sam Houston State University, History-Major, English-Minor
  • Masters Degree in Educational Administration, Lamar University
  • Doctorate in Educational Administration, Lamar University.

We have the best school district in the state.  Vidor ISD balances academics, extracurricular and support for the whole child better than any place I have ever worked.  I am proud to lead this district.
