2014 Homecoming Hype!

Dr. Jay KillgoWe are excited to be starting Homecoming Week at Vidor ISD. Anyone who lives in Vidor knows what an exciting time this is for all of our students and the community. Our first event is the community pep rally and lights out practice Tuesday evening at 7:00 in Pirate Stadium. There will be vendors and clubs set up before the event. Gates will open at 6:00 for the celebration.
Friday is an early out for our students and the parade will take place at 2:00.
Our game against Goose Creek Memorial will start at 7:00. As always, we will have the Lights Out Halftime. This is a spectacular show.
If you have never been to a Vidor Homecoming, you need to make it a point to attend! With great pride and tradition, the community comes together and puts on this great experience. I hope to see all of you this week.

The administration, staff and faculty of the Vidor Independent School District are committed to ensuring that all VISD students have access to a quality education. It is our goal to enable our students to achieve their potential so that they may fully participate now and in the future in the social, economic and educational opportunities of this area, our State, and our Nation.
