Vidor ISD Offers GED Prep and Testing
|

|
The GED Test offers adults who left school an opportunity to earn a high school credential.
GED examinees must demonstrate major skills (twelfth grade competencies that would have been
acquired in a four year high school education) in a battery of tests covering five major
subject areas: Language Arts Writing, Social Studies, Science, Language Arts Reading, and Mathematics.

Need Some Help Preparing
for the Exam?
Free GED Classes
- Held each Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6-9 p.m. in AIM Center Room 62
- New students are accepted on the first and third Tuesdays of each month.
- Register onsite at class time.
- Bring pencil or pen, paper and a calculator.
- Progress tests are given to measure knowledge and improvement to indicate when student is prepared to take the test.
- Vidor ISD is a member of the Safe and Drug Free Schools - no smoking while on the campus.

Testing begins promptly at 4:30 p.m. Arrive 15 minutes early as late arrivals will not be permitted to test.
