AIM Center HS is a “School of Choice Alternative Education Program” that provides accelerated instructional services for Achieving Individual Mastery of high school credits to students at risk of not graduating from high school..
Our goal is to keep and graduate students whose needs, for a variety of reasons, are not met in a traditional high school setting. This “application only” campus is not driven by discipline placement, but instead, by a student’s unique circumstances which directly impact their academic performance.
Classes are available in the four core subject areas of English, math, science, social studies and a limited number of elective classes and are often computer based. Students are still required to meet the state standards for the TAKS tests, and diplomas issued from AIM Center HS are accredited by the state of Texas.
This campus provides a unique opportunity to gain a state of Texas high school diploma at an individual pace. Many students are actually able to graduate ahead of their peers.
