7:10 a.m. - Faculty on duty
7:40 a.m. - First Bell
7:45 a.m. - Announcements / Tardy Bell
2:35 p.m. - Begin loading buses
2:45 p.m. - Parent pick-up (all grades) |
| Check Out Procedures |

If you need to take your child from class for the day:
- Check in at the office.
- Sign for your child to be released.
- Students will be called to the front office.

| Lunch Visits |
If you would like to visit with your child during his/her lunch:
- Check in at the office and obtain a visitor's tag (tag must be worn while on campus).
- Meet your child in the cafeteria and have lunch with *ONLY him/her at the reserved table.
(*This rule allows for a special time with your child and helps with the continuity in the cafeteria.)

| Student Safety |

- Student drop-off is located in front of the building in the GREEN ZONE only. Children are not allowed to cross lanes of parking lot unattended.
- An Identification Card will be given to display in the passenger/front window.
- Parent pick-up will take place in the GREEN ZONE. Students will stand with a teacher until his/her car stops completely.
- Parents wishing to park and pick up students are asked to wait outside the building.
- Special buses are a necessary part of our school. Pick up is located by the cafeteria. DO NOT BLOCK OR PARK IN THIS AREA.
- Day Care pick-up is located by the gym.

If you would like to speak with your child's teacher, please send a note or call the office (951.8860).
Please do not attempt to conference during afternoon dismissal. This is a very busy time at Oak Forest
as we ensure the safe return of our students. |

| We have an active and growing Volunteer Program just waiting for you to join. We invite you to join, support and be active in our Parent Teacher Organization. Schools with active PTO's are stronger and provide more opportunities for school/community cooperation. |
