Gradespeed ParentConnection is a Web site that interacts with the district's electronic grade reporting system and allows parents to obtain educational information about their students.
- The site contains information for students in first through twelfth grades.
- For ease of access, parents may register multiple students under the one account.

| Registration |
Parents may register online by accessing Gradespeed ParentConnection using the link above. Registrants must answer questions based on their child’s information on file. District personnel will review the information and activate or deny the account. The following information will be needed to complete the application process: |
- Your home address and phone number
- A password (at least 6 characters)
- Child's student ID number
- Child's last 4 digits of their social security number
- Child's birthday
- Your email address

| Please allow a few days for the application to be approved. You will receive an email confirming your active account. |
| Assistance |
- If you are having difficulty with ParentConnection, email us at gier@vidorisd.org and describe the problem you are having. Questions concerning a pending account or adding a student to the account can be directed to the technology department at 409.951.8750.
- Questions conerning your child's grades need to be directed to the teacher.
- Grades that appear on ParentConnection are as current as the teacher's electronic gradebook. Please allow adequate time for teachers to grade papers and enter the grades into the system. Remember, teachers have the full-time job of teaching, planning, collaborating, meeting, and assessing student work.
